Choose the Right Deployment Option

In LS Central SaaS, you can choose between two deployment options; Online POS and Hybrid POS. You can also combine the two. To select the right deployment option for each customer, consider the pros and cons of each option alongside specific customer factors (volume of transactions, stability and quality of internet connection, etc.)

Online POS

The LS Central POS runs online and is connected to the cloud instance. This option minimizes the costs related to internal resources, and IT support, as Microsoft takes the main responsibility.

Pros

• Faster to implement.
• Minimal IT dependency for application maintenance.
• Upgrades tend to be iterative with your limited involvement.

Cons

• Relies on an internet connection (5G failover router).
• Relies on Microsoft service.
